Are bartenders submitted to a background check?

Im applying at a local Pub and a few hotels. I have a couple tickets for driving without a license, wich i now have.

    I believe on most applications there is a place that asks if you have been charged with a crime. I wouldn't assume that tickets would be an issue. If your worried, honesty is the best policy, but I really don't think it would be an issue for most places. They aren't hiring you to drive their guests around.

    Most employers are concerned with felonies like theft, battery, frauds of various natures but not your driving record. Unless you are applying for a driving job, they probably don't care unless you have a whole bunch which might show that you are irresponsible.
