Felicia’s habitual drug use made me think of addiction issues in the world. Illegal drug addiction is one of the biggest concerns for many countries. It is a problem that we are all aware of, whether we've heard it from the news or have peers who have been exposed to drugs. There are various reasons why people get addicted to them. Usually, if it involves youths, it is because of peer pressure, stress and curiosity. In fact, many friends abet substance abuse. Perhaps initially, some people wanted to look "cool" or fit in. However, gradually, they find themselves addicted to drugs. Then, it becomes a matter of satisfying their cravings in order to get on with life. One may find that he can no longer function as well as he could before he started abusing drugs, and his life will turn upside down. For example, Felicia trembles and gets exhausted frequently, and the drug she is on "cures" her condition. The more drugs you take, the more ineffectual they become, thus requiring that you consume more of them each time. This problem exists around us, but somehow most of us think it's something that happens happen only in the movies or on television. Unfortunately, we are wrong. This is an issue that we should together make an effort to solve, or at least, try to reduce the number of people who are prone to using illegal substances, through education.
[Hope I didn't interpret your paragraph wrongly, I took the liberty of rephrasing a lot of stuff.]
