Music Go Round will buy a non-working guitar, and like you said, subtract the cost of the repair from the amount they will pay you for it. The only situation we would not buy the guitar would be if the repair costs would be greater than the amount we would pay for the instrument in working condition. As an example: Guitar "buy" price would be $100, but the truss rod is broken and the neck has to be replaced...the replacement neck and set up work would cost us $125...we would pass on this instrument.

Best thing to do is contact the Music Go Round location in your city and discuss the guitar and the repairs you believe it needs...our associates will be more than happy to discuss this with you.

Forget the guitar...stay in school. Come back when you can compose a coherent question.
