i took a photo of a peridot in a dark room on my phone, i think the LED light from my phone made the peridot..?

....dim or loose color? is that supposed to happen to peridots or am i imaginating it??


will it go back to normal?

    What color is the phone LED light. Red? Peridot (fayalite) is yellow-green. It absorbs red light. No, you were not imagining the dimming.
