Do a bi-racial mommy and multi-racial daddy make a multi-racial baby?

I'm half mexican and half white and my husband is 1/4 mexican, 1/4 black and half white. Would our baby be half white, 1/4 mexican and 1/4 black just like him? Is that how it works??

Easy points, thanks in advance.

Your child would be multiracial, meaning of more that one race.

However, the child would be 1/2 the ethnicity that you and your husband are.

And that would not amount to 1/4 black.

First, let's just say that they make a "family." Multi-racial is a thing many are showing as pride of ownership! You worked out the breakdown just fine. Just like your husband.

I'm not even going to try to divide those fractions, but, yes, your child would be multiracial, as both you and your husband are multiracial.
