Did proctor intentionally serve that up to longoria?

Wouldn't it have made more sense beat the Rays so the Rays and Red Sox would have to play a one-game tiebreaker? They'd have to use their best remaining pitcher, thereby not be able to use him in the ALDS, making it easier for them to lose to the Rangers.

Yeah, the Yankees waited until the 12th inning and after midnight to intentionally lose the game.

If you watched Proctor at all this season you wouldn't have to ask. Don't expect to see him in the playoffs.

Does it matter? Girardi's failure to play all out to win when playing a contender is the most classless act I've ever seen, well accept for AROD and the Girly Slap!
