French Manga with political/environmental themes?

Hi I'm a french student and i'm looking for some good french manga to read.
More specifically something that has a heavey political/economical/environmental/Nucle... theme ( These are the topics we are working on this year)

Also any other great managas for pleasure reading (french or english).

Don't read manga read bandes desinees. And do read the Asterix series -- especially the early ones before Rene Goscinny died. To an outsider like me at least Sarkoszy is not totally alien to the De Gaulle/Mitterand milieu that those were produced in. He just has far less class than either of those guys.
