Well, unfortunately Spotify is a streaming music service and you don't get to download Spotify music or anything like that, let alone download Spotify music and transfer it to iTunes for listening on your Apple devices.
For this you need a third party piece of software, there are some software programs that can capture and record Spotify streaming music to your hard drive for offline listening on any devices you need, not only on the devices compatible with Spotify streaming.
You can check out some Audials Tunebite program for example, this one also works to record and save Spotify streaming music to mp3s or other formats in pretty good quality.
This one should help you save and transfer Spotify music for iTunes without any problems, guess it doesn't hurt to give it a try.

Not exactly as spotify is a streaming service. The music is not downloaded so cannot be transferred to iTunes. Spotify do produce an iPhone app which lets you store and listen to music even when not connected to the Internet but you need to subscribe to the Premium Service to use this option

no longer precisely as spotify is a streaming provider. The music isn't downloaded so in simple terms isn't able to be transferred to iTunes. Spotify do produce an iPhone app which lets you keep and hear music even even as no longer on the placement of the internet yet you'd be able to wish to affix contained in the suited fee provider to practice this decision
