How long will it take to raise my GPA to a 3.0?

I am a college student. I have always made really good grades. I graduated high school with honors. Due to recent uncontrollable events, I had to miss a great deal of school and my GPA dropped. There was no way for me to make any of it up, so I am stuck with a low GPA of 1.32. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what grades I have to make and how long it will take for me to raise it to a 3.0? Thank you.

That depends on how many credits you took to get the 1.32. Let's call that 'x', and 'y' is the number of credits of A's you need to get a 3.0 GPA. Here's how you figure it out.

    (1.32 * x + 4.0 * y) / (x+y) = 3.0

Plug in x and solve for y. Keep in mind it might not be possible, and with your current GPA you're probably going to get kicked out.
