    The answer is:

    4 x {3 - [(1 / 5) x 6] - (4 / 5)} = 4

    Because it equals:

    4 x [3 - (6 / 5) - (4 / 5)]

    4 x [3 - (10 / 5)]

    4 x [3 - 2]

    4 x [1]

    4

    [4•(3-1)]/[5•(6-4)] ÷ 1/5 = 4

Note for above. There is a 1/5 because only /5 was left outside the brackets.

    (4•2)/(5•2) ÷ 1/5 = 4

    8/10 ÷ 1/5 = 4..........flip last fraction and then multiply

    8/10 •5/1 = 4

    40/10 = 4
