False. Firstly a solution is a mixture of at least two chemicals that form a liquid. A gaseous substance forming from a liquid is a vapour. A precipitate is a solid that falls out of a solution or it could be a liquid condensing from a vapour of more that one chemical, eg rain is a precipitate.
