chemistry help anyone ?

so im taking chemistry in university and im just wondering whats the best way to study it ? and how long should i study it each night ? im not very good at studying so i would like some tips to help me out . thank you :)

    I found that reading up on stuff BEFORE it came up in a lecture was best.

    That way, you could follow most of the lecture, and keep interested in it.

    When I tried it the other way round, I didn't stay very alert in lectures and a lot of hwhat I heard sounded complicated or boring, so it didn't inspire me to read up on it.
