Why do King Minos and Shakespeare judge the dead?
Well I was just wondering why what made it so that they were the ones to judge the dead?

Where is Shakespeare judging the dead?
As for Minos, he acquired the aura of a wise man in the Middle Ages, but being a pagan King is still in Hell. So having him as a judge for the dead is a compromise. However, this is literary, and I doubt that the church was very happy about it.
