I'm starting psychology and i'm stuck :(?

    Okay, when doing any sort of experiment, you only want one variable so you know for sure what you're proving. For example, the one about alcohol affecting memory. You want all the people to be around the same age and for them all to be healthy. You wouldn't want to use an older person or someone with a mental disorder.
