Horror- The Strangers (2008) is absolutely terrifying and very very creepy. After you see the end, you will be double-checking that you've locked you're doors and windows.

Thriller- Although it lacks a very deep story line (but so does the above), The Hitcher (2007) is very exciting. The acting is very great, maybe besides for the character Jim, who still does good. Struggles between a young woman and a killer on both sides of a door, cars flipping over and exploding. It's a fun little roller coaster of fear and adrenaline.

Action- I would have to say the movie Transformers never fails me. A lot of people say it's very shallow and just pointless car crashes and such, but relationships develop, tears flow, desperation rises. It's a lot better than a lot of people will make you think. And plus, the special effects are very awesome.

Drama- Walk the Line is a good movie. There are a lot of struggles and hardships through the movie, and it can be sad, but it's all worth it.

Comedy- The movie The Men Who Stare at Goats always makes me laugh. And so does Super Troopers.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Little Miss Sunshine Pan's Labyrinth Crash Spirited Away You can try: Schindler's List V For Vendetta Amadeus Doctor Zhivago American Beauty Forrest Gump The Curious Case of Ben Button The Silence of the Lambs Rocket Science Juno Ratatouille

  • Stardust- It's different and entertaining, plus I love Robert De Niro!

Ella Enchanted- Interesting storyline and bits of humour.

Tropic Thunder- Incredibly funny, a great film.

Harry Potters- Do I have to say anything??

National Treasure 1&2- Fun for all the family, bit of a history lesson thrown in too! ;)

Treasure Planet- Just fun to watch...

The Lion King- An all time favourite of classic Disney, before they went dodgy :)

Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3- Because Johnny Depp is a legend and Jack Sparrow's always drunk ;)

These are just some of my favourites, I hope you have fun!

P.S. - In case you haven't seen it yet I thought Rise of the Planet of the Apes was quite a decent film :)
