The Name Ada (AY-DUH) what do you think?

It's the name of an Australian Actress , & I've kind of just fell in love with it , It's pretty & simple and a twist on the very popular Ava.

Middle names too please :)

Update:

Ada is pronounced Ay Duh , I'm not going to spell the name AYDUH for anyone getting confused. That would be plain cruel to the poor child.

Ada is an old fashioned, pretty name.

It's short and simple and I agree that it could be a gorgeous subtitute for Ava.

    How about:

    - Ada Caroline

    - Ada Rosemary

    - Ada Clementine

    - Ada Seraphine

    - Ada Isabel

    - Ada Beatrice

    - Ada Mavis

    - Ada Penelope

    - Ada Vivienne

Ada was once a very popular name in Britain but it is rarely heard of these day.

A good idea to bring it back!

I know a lady called Aida (pronounced the same way as you), she's from Lebanon, apparently it's fairly common there. I quite like it, sweet and simple.

sorry to say but it reminds me of saying ah duh when somebody says something stupid, the spelling is really trippy too!

i like Ada pronounced properly though.
