What is going to happen to the United States Postal Service, they can't afford to pay retirements?

They'll start to not deliver on more and more days until the USPS evolves into a pay as you go service like Fedex or UPS. I think they already discussed not delivering on Saturdays.

Taxpayer bailouts, of course. Unlike the bailout of GM, the Post Office is a Constitutional function of the federal government.

That's what happens when an entitlement culture evolves so that employees expect to be paid for life after working 20 years, It is neither equitable nor sustainable.
