What is Daytona Beach Like vs Some of the Other FL Beaches?
Is it nice? I heard during spring break it's a party beach, but we aren't going during that time anyway. We usually go to Cocoa beach, so what is it like compared to that? (if you are familiar with both beaches?) Which is nicer?

I prefer the Daytona Beach - known as one of the most famous beaches in the world.
The beach is famous for many other things besides cars and racing. There are the many very friendly and beautiful people that are always enjoying activities at the beach. With 23 miles to play on people have found an almost unlimited amount of activities. Sunbathing, surfing, frisbee, sandcastle building, people watching, volleyball, swimming, running, bicycling, car cruising, bikini watching, kite flying, picnicing, riding floats, relaxing, riding motorbikes, sitting under umbrellas, looking for shells, sailing, jet sking, skim boarding, fishing, enjoying beauty contests, eating "beach dogs" or snowcones, walking the boardwalk, playing video games, enjoying the skyride, sail boarding, jogging, enjoying free concerts, comparing tans, meeting new friends, or take a romantic walk on the beach at night with the moonlight sparkling on the water, etc.
When you have had enough fun at the beach you can also watch NASCAR racing at Daytona International Speedway, motorcycle racing, go kart racing, go deep sea fishing, play championship golf, enjoy world class dining, shop till you drop at great specialty shoppes, visit museums, enjoy professional sports and entertainment, go to the theater, and then you just might want to take a short drive to some of Florida's other big vacation attractions. The area's convenient location provides easy access to Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Epcot Center, Wet'nWild, Church Street Station, MGM Studios, historic St. Augustine and Kennedy Space Center. These attractions are all within just one hour's drive from Daytona Beach.
Of course, Cocoa beach is also a great tourist destination. Now that you have been there for many times, why don't you go to the Daytona Beach this time?
In order to give you an all-sided view, I am still happy to tell you something about the Cocoa beach.
You can visit attractions like the Kennedy Space Center (maybe even see a space shuttle liftoff!), or the Brevard Zoo, then spend time doing some fabulous shopping or golfing. You can even drive just a short distance to all the Orlando attractions, then return to Cocoa Beach to enjoy dinner at one of the many dining spots on the beach, ranging from elegant to sand-in-your-shoes casual. After dark, kick back and enjoy the easy beach-style nightlife activities that run the gamut from cool jazz clubs to beach side cafes. Then stay overnight in the perfect accommodations and wake up to a spectacular sunrise on the beach.
No matter where you will choose to go, i hope you can enjoy yourself to the hilt~~
