What are the disadvantages of touch screen phones and touch screens in general?
Do you prefer touch screens? If so, why?

Its difficult to click/choose small icons or buttons unless you use some kind of touch screen pen
That pen can scratch the screen if you dont have a protective layer on it, that layer can make it pretty hard to select and click on items
Chatting or texting can be harder than keyboard/keypad
Your hand might block the screen when using it
If you have a full touchscreen with no buttons and a program crashes, it will be pretty hard to quit the program since the entire screen will be responsive
Touch screens drain battery life and use a lot of power pretty fast
And some touch screens might be slow and laggy
I used to have the Nokia 5800 and loved it but switched to blackberry because of its services
in the end it all comes down to which device you're talking about or for what use and your own opinion.
