關代、名詞子句英文文法問題
請問一下何謂同位語?何謂關代?同位語跟關代又有什麼關係呢??何謂名詞子句?其中差異在哪?是名詞子句是改第一個字?
舉個我會搞混的例子來說:
EX.
The toy which was made by john.
The toy was made by john.
The toy made by john.
請問這三句哪個是正確的?
因為我記得好像可以簡略(就是把關代還有BE動詞刪掉)
還有問兩個問題:
1.modern technology makes it easy ___people's privacy.
(A)invading (B)to invade 答案是B 但為什麼呢?
2.____makes his achievements truly amazing is that he is blind.
(A)that (B)it (C)which (D)what 答案是D 但我不知道它是要問什麼?

還有"所以向後移動成為delayed object。"這句是什麼意思呢?

The toy which was made by john.
（這裡的which是關係代名詞，帶出一個關係子句，又稱形容詞子句，當修飾語，修飾先行詞toy。因為沒有主要子句，這句結構不完整，不能視為正確的句子。）
The toy was made by john.
（這是正確的句子，John的第一個字母要大寫，因為是專有名詞）
The toy made by john.
（這裡的動詞應有助動詞was，才能形成被動）
請問這三句哪個是正確的?

The toy which was made John is very beautiful.
＝The toy made by John is very beautiful.
這種狀況的形容詞子句（當修飾語），可以改寫成分詞片語（還是修飾語）。
同位語是名詞性質，不同於修飾語（形容詞或副詞性質）。
如My friend John is an English teacher.
這裡的John是my friend的同位語。
還有問兩個問題:
1.Modern technology makes it easy ___people's privacy.
(A)invading (B)to invade 答案是B 但為什麼呢?
這句的it是虛受詞（形式上的受詞）。真正的受詞是to invade people's privacy，因為比受詞補語easy長很多，所以向後移動成為delayed object。
2.____makes his achievements truly amazing is that he is blind.
(A)that (B)it (C)which (D)what 答案是D 但我不知道它是要問什麼?
這句的主詞是一個名詞子句：What makes his achievements truly amazing。這裡的what是帶先行詞的關係代名詞，不是用來問問題的疑問字。what = the fact that。
全句的意思：他是瞎子，這狀況讓他的成就更為神奇。

第二題的選項中只有what是帶先行詞的關係代名詞。其它三個選項都不是。
What makes his achievements truly amazing is that he is blind.
= The fact that makes his achievements truly amazing is that he is blind.

主詞和受詞太長時會向後延遲成為delayed subject和delayed object.
如：It is fun to read. = To read is fun.
It is difficult for me to learn a second language.
= To learn a second language is difficult for me.

= I thought that it was strange for her to be out so late.
= I thought it strange for her to be out so late.
英文寫作有尾重原則，長的文字放句尾較自然。
