Well, i wouldn t take this "Best Answer" paranoia guy too seriously, since he gave no facts.
So here is some realistic information: http://www.numbeo.com/crime/rankings_by_country.jsp?title=2015®ion=150 - crime rate is not too good but not too bad either.. somewhat about average.
If there is a law, there will always be someone trying to break it - it doesn t matter in which country you are. There is nothing about that scenario of the "Best Answer" guy, that could happen anywhere else... **** happens, accept it and don t blame a country for it - that s just unthoughtful.
Besides, crime rate is not a really good way to describe a country. If you want to hear all the positives about the country, you should read the official information, since it s the job of tourism department to find the good things about it http://www.lithuania.travel/?lang=2
I don t think that daily life in Lithuania is something special...i mean it s the usual routine like wake up, work, get back and have fun during your free time.
You just have to have in mind, that economics isn t too powerful in Lithuania, therefore you can t expect like... high salaries and stuff... If you want to know about architecture and culture.., you relly should read, what tourism department gives you.
