    That's not "bribery". Bribery is giving someone money so they do something for you that they aren't allowed to do.

    Simply donating money to their campaign in hopes that they get elected is not bribery.

    It isn't bribery unless there is a specific connection between the contribution and the politician doing something for the donor. The amount doesn't matter-it could be as little as tickets to a sports event.
