You know, Chicago is place full of activities and there’re always lots of romantic things to do.
Well, if both of you guys love music, go for a concert in one of the great music venues in Chicago. Or you can just come to Green Mill. They have live jazz every night. It’ll be amazing to listen to excellent music with your loved one. (Perhaps no matter where you are :) )
Theatres are nice destinations if you guys are in the mood to watch a movie & enjoy art performances or live shows. Chicago has Shakespeare theatre (at Navy Pier), Congress theatre and Chicago theatre.
If your boyfriend is a big sports fan, then it’s would be great idea for you to watch at least one sports game with him. Or you guys can visit sports bars in Chicago. here’re some nice options for you to refer to:
** 260 Sports Bar - 260 W 26th St, Chicago, IL 60616 - (312) 706-8100
** WhirlyBall - 1880 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago, IL 60614 - (773) 486-7777
** Happy Village - 1059 N Wolcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60622 - (773) 486-1512
** Will's Northwoods Inn - 3030 N Racine Ave, Chicago, IL 60657 - (773) 528-4400
And you guys definitely should have romantic dinner at some wonderful restaurants in the city. Wow, there’ll be lots of romantic dining places for you to choose from. Here’s a list:
** Cafe Absinthe
This restaurant can be found in Wicker Park, one of the popular area attractions in Chicago. I guess you guys can take a romantic stroll at the park first and then head to the restaurant to have a stunning dining experience. It must be great :)
Address: 1954 W. North Ave., Chicago
** Signature Room at the 95th
To be honest, this place is somewhat expensive. However, their food is fantastic and as is the great view. Just consider it.
Address: John Hancock Center, 875 N. Michigan Ave., 95th Floor, Chicago
Navy Pier Ferris Wheel
It’s also one of the popular romantic restaurants in Chicago. As it’s close to the Navy Pier, I think you can consider a romantic dinner at this restaurant after an action-packed day at Navy Pier, which, by the way, is a place you can not miss out.
600 East Grand Ave., Chicago, IL 60611
Or you can check out the following page to find many other ROMANTIC things to do in Chicago.
Hope this can be helpful for you. Have a great time!

Take the Chicago Boat Architecture Tour in the mid-morning. Go to Ed DeBevics or Giordano's for lunch. Weather permitting, enjoy the 18th street or Oak Street Beaches. For a romantic dinner, eat at the Signature Room, on the 95th floor of the Hancock Building. Enjoy.
