What are the top 3 reasons to still be an informed Obama supporter?

I've noticed many of the people that continue to support Obama don't actually know what he's done or what his programs have accomplished.

For instance: His foreclosure prevention program actually hurt more people than it helped YET I notice this is one of the first things people list as an Obama accomplishment.

Also, black unemployment has actually RISEN under Obama.

So what are the top 3 reasons to be an INFORMED Obama supporter? (ie He killed Osama Bin Laden etc.)

@glass cup.........."His solution is based on evidence. The Fed Chairman's PHD thesis. "

A) That's VERY VERY vague.

B) You mean the Fed Chairman Bush originally appointed? lol OK, you trust that guy.......good luck.

Update 2:

@tex j.........

That's kinda what I was thinking. What happens if he has to run against Romney or Paul?

Update 3:

@paul..............."3. Its still better than G.W. Bush by about a billion light years."

His policies are nearly identical. How can possibly say this with a straight face?

Update 4:

@armchair goddess.................

Do you HONESTLY believe is the best place to get objective information? REALLY?

As for credibility of that site has long since gone. The formula they used to calculate how many jobs had been "created" changed about 3 times. Then they just said "fk it, we'll just change the definition of 'created'".

May I suggest that you make full and open-minded use of and to discover for yourself the AMAZING achievements made by President Obama thus far, and the ones being worked upon for our nation's long-term safety, strengthening, and prosperity. To remind yourself of just a small part of what President Obama was facing when he first took office on January 20, 2009, use JibJab (intended as a parody but actually an understatement).

Nicholas J's answer is right on target! You are requiring that we who respond be "informed," and yet you try to claim that GW's failed policies of supply-side (trickle on down upon the little people) and massive DEREGULATION for banksters, Wall Street, insurers, pharmaceuticals, big oil, and all the other entities that helped bring this nation into near-third-world status (all right-wing GOP policies) are somehow "nearly identical" to our nation-saving President Obama's DEMAND-SIDE (spending from the bottom on upward and outward) and RE-REGULATION approach that succeeded in turning this nation's GOP-shrunken Great Recession disaster around as of June 2009 (see Bloomberg News, Reuters, and Forbes to learn more).

President Obama is BRILLIANT, as you will discover when reading and (#1), HARD-WORKING, as you will discover when reading and (#2), and INCREDIBLY ABLE TO MULTI-TASK while maintaining his "No Drama Obama" demeanor (#3). How do you feel about the fact that President Obama and the Democrats succeeded in REDUCING the GOP-caused DEFICIT by 8% in the first months of 2010, as reported in Reuters and Washington Post articles and also on MSNBC? His first budget (October 1, 2009) following the final FY $1.09 TRILLION Bush/Cheney budget that ended on September 30, 2009 (nine full months after President Obama was sworn in) was for a whopping $90 BILLION LESS than his nation-destroying predecessors! So...howduya like Dem apples? I'm looking forward to President Obama's second term...aren't you?

The stimulus package was historic tax relief to small businesses.

His payroll tax cut also in 2009.

The indirect role his middle eastern diplomacy served in the Egyptian spring, Tunisia and Libya democratic movements.

Ceasing the American executive policy of torturing military prisoners.

    Opening up Guantanamo to trials.

    Work to reverse DADT.

    Work to reverse DOMA.

    Health care reform.

Credit Card holder bill of rights.

    Consumer Protection Agency.

Demands on repayment of TARP loans.

Handling of BP after the gulf spill.

Protecting the homeland from foreign attacks.

Stabilizing an economy on the brink of utter collapse (allegedly).

Gracefully ignoring or handling, the birthers etc.

Drawing down combat operations in Iraq.

Setting timetables for withdrawl to make Afgan security accountable.

A work visa program for illegal aliens based on logic and desire to document rather than imprison.

Slowing the deficit growth significantly from 2008-2009 levels.

Working to close corporate tax loopholes.

And obviously the main thing every non-right winger looks for in a candidate, not being affiliated with the GOP.

The Republicans solution is to give money to the rich.

His solution is based on evidence. The Fed Chairman's PHD thesis.

He got 8 financial quarters of growth after contracting at a rate of 6% a year.

You referenced the word "informed" and therein lies the crux of the matter.

They don't want to know otherwise they would realize they had been duped.
