Electrical engineering is typically reserved for large electromechanical devices (homes, motors, building, cars, etc) and electronic engineering is reserved for small consumer electronic devises such as phones or computers. Electronic engineering typically deal with PCB (printed circuit board) design where electrical engineering deals with much larger wires and systems.
