What would you buy, 2010 Nissan Rogue or Chevy Equinox?

I am looking to buy a new vehicle and have been offered a 2010 Nissan Rogue for $22k, 5700 miles, Krom package, CVT and love the way it drives but everyone says Chevy Equinox is better and more dependable excpet fuel economy is worse than advertised. Resale on both seems to be great but Nissan parts for replacement are pricy. Just wonder what the general public thinks, and hope to get some good input and help me decide which way to go.

Normally I would recommend Nissan over Chevy, as a whole, but if you are talking about the 2010 or 2011 models, the Equinox is a better vehicle.

The Rogue is a tin can with wheels.

Nissan is best but when it comes to maintenance its costly.

Chevy is easy on pocket while its sturdy enough to withstand some rough handling.

If you dont worry too much about resale value or not a very 'regularly takes care of maintainence', go for Chevy.

Again this is my way of thinking to isolate to a decision.

    Hope it helps.

    Good Luck buddy
