    Perhaps:

    spes inops

    in Latin.

spes = hope (nominative singular of spes, hope)

inops = helpless (nominative feminine singular of inops, helpless, to match "spes")

Done with a knowledge of Latin, not with Google Translate which is notoriously unreliable when used with inflected languages such as Latin or Greek.
