So i want to install a ATI radeon HD5770 1GB GDDR5 PCT-E video card on my computer is it possible to do this?

COMP specs:

Operating System: Microsoft windows vista home premium

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 5000+

Memory(RAM): 3.00 GB

Video card:ATI radeon 2100

Manufacturer:acer

Model:Aspire M1200

    looks okay to me. the only reason i know of that it wouldnt work would be if you had a really old computer (like windows xp) and in that case the PCE expansion slot would be 2.0, but with the hd radeon 5000 series they are all 2.1

    Yes you can. You have a PCIe slot that the 5770 will fit in.

    The difference between PCIe 2.0 and PCIe 2.1 is minimal. 2.1 just adds some diagnostic capabilities that are going to be used in 3.0. There will be absolutely no performance loss.
