I will not use ANY over-the-counter flea and tick meds (Adams, BioSpot, Hartz), because they have had so many adverse side-effects. Frontline is now sold OTC, and Advantix, but they used to be by prescription only, which means they underwent a lot more testing for safety. Stick to those brands only, not Bio-Spot. Also keep it away from cats as it's poisonous to them.
