Why is there less ATP produced from FADH2 than NADH if they are both contributing the same number of...?

Why is there less ATP produced from FADH2 than NADH if they are both contributing the same number of high energy electrons to the electron transport chain?

a. because FADH2 adds its electrons lower down on the electron transport chain

b. because FADH2 carries the electrons much more slowly

c. because the Krebs cycle makes many more NADH than FADH2

d. because NADH has a higher affinity for its electrons
