'We're gonna need a bigger boat...' Peter Benchely's book 'Jaws'.

Great book, better than the film.

I love the quote coz you can drop it in any situation where you feel out-gunned.

"You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all a part of the same compost pile."

    From Chuck Palahniuk's 'Fight Club,

I am a fan of cynicism and those who tell it like it is. Palahniuk is a respectably blunt writer, and within this short passage, he's essentially phrasing the words that we are unable to vocalise ourselves. It's also heaps amusing and stuff.

These are a bunch of my favourite books. Enjoy!

    The Alchemist - Paul Coelho

The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen

    Paper Towns - John Green

    Tell All - Chuck Palahniuk

Life of Pi - Yann Martel

The da Vinci Code - Dan Brown

Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynn Jones

The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood

    Wicked - Gregory Maquire

The Power of One - Bryce Courtenay

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest - Ken Kessey

Looking For Alaska - John Green

    The Messenger - Markus Zusak

To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee

The Catcher in the Rye - J.D Salinger

    Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk

A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini

    The Road - Cormac McCarthy

The Memory Keeper's Daughter - Kim Edwards

The Princess Bride - William Goldman

The Book Thief - Markus Zusak

    Slaughterhouse 5 - Kurt Vonnegut

Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro

Breakfast of Champions - Kurt Vonnegut

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith

"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read" Groucho Marx.

Can't recommend any books as you gave no indication of your age, gender or interest.

"Sometimes when the dolphins went to playgrounds alone they did the monkeybars and went to the swings and on the swings thought, 'I hate this stupid world.' They thought, 'I hate it.' They cried a little with the wind in their face."

    - "Eeeee Eee Eeee" by Tao Lin

I'd recommend "Eeeee Eee Eeee" by Tao Lin

"I sometimes think we must be all mad and that we shall wake to sanity in strait-waistcoats." -Dracula by Bram Stoker

"I can resist anything but temptation." Oscar Wilde

That being said, I'd recommend any work by Oscar Wilde, and I'd also recommend Dracula.
