In Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol, does Scrooge join Bob Cratchit's family for Christmas dinner?

In Charles Dickens's novel A Christmas Carol, does Scrooge join Cratchit family's Christmas feast? I know he buys them a turkey but does he actually GO and JOIN the feast?
