What should the Seahawks do regarding their awful QB situation?

Currently, Tarvaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst are battling it out for the starting QB position in Seattle, which is pathetic.

Therefore, what do you think the Seahawks SHOULD do?

A) Make a hard push to trade for Carson Palmer, though it seems as though Mike Brown is adamant in not trading Palmer.

B) Make a trade proposal to Denver to acquire Kyle Orton

C) Do nothing this year and try to trade up in the draft to get Andrew Luck next year. If not Andrew Luck, then draft Matt Barkley, who's Pete Carroll's mentee.

D) Charlie Whitehurst is the team's franchise QB. As such, Seattle will not now, nor in the near future, make an attempt to acquire a good QB.

Update:

@Ralph Cadet- Not true. Pete Carroll, along with the rest of the team, will not throw away a season to get the top pick. No one, in the right mind, will do this, unless there's no chance to make the playoffs and there's only a few games left in the season.

Also, Pete Carroll does NOT fill his roster up with USC guys per se. He passed up on Taylor Mays, a USC guy, he traded Lawrence Jackson, a former Trojan, and he cut Lendale White, another former Trojan.

First of all, what makes you think that Luck will be the "top pick"? I think Pete Carroll has a decent team, Jackson or Whitehurst may not be Brady or Manning but don't under estimate these guys plus they both have something to prove this year so you never know what happens, lets not forget last season the Seahawks were "by far" the luckiest team in the NFL.

i does no longer be so pleased with that team, Marshawn Lynch has been the least effective RB everywhere he's went. So inspite of a QB, he has no determination available to a RB for a respectable run. the only WRW of any cost is Rice--something are not shown yet. The hawks are not a respectable QB removed from being contenders, they want an above common QB to hold the load for that team. in simple terms undergo in recommendations they have been slightly contenders final year, getting interior the playoffs with a 7-9 is pathetic.

    C) They have shown that they aren't willing to trade for a quarterback with Kyle Orton still on the market.

Take out life insurance policies on Jackson & Whitehurst. Take them boating on Puget Sound and have an "accident."

Use the life insurance to get...Favre.

I say just wait for Andrew Luck. He would fit in perfectly with John Carlson.
