You are in luck. There is a new Rapid bus transit that takes you from YYC straight to downtown. All you have to do is go to the MAC store and purchase your ticket at arrivals. ($8) then go outside and look for the BRT number 300. It leaves every 30 min. Here is a link that tells you where it stops downtown.
Alternatively you can also take the airport shuttle that takes you from the airport to different hotels downtown. It costs $15 plus tips. It's a faster alternatives because it doesn't stop at Centre street.
You will also find their office on arrivals.
Hope that helps. The most expensive is a cab and I wouldn't recommend it if you are on a budget.Source(s): Have used both services!

Taxi or C-train (aka LRT). Some hotels have a free or inexpensive shuttle service from the airport to downtown - and I found this to be the best option when I was last in Calgary.

The easiest way would be by taxi if you're willing to pay the fare. If you want a cheaper way then you can take a bus to the LRT station near McKnight Blvd which will take you all the way downtown.Source(s): I live in Calgary
