Yeah, I imagine he will. During the Titanic craze, DiCaprio received a lot of slack related to his sudden teen-idol fame, but if you look at much of the work that he's done since then, it's high quality. The Departed, Blood Diamond, Catch Me if You Can, The Aviator, Gangs of New York, Inception, Shutter Island, etc., were all received well, although I wasn't a huge fan of a couple of those roles.
One thing that I have to criticize though, is the fact that he works with Scorsese constantly. I'm not trying to take a swing at those particular movies, because some of them are pretty good, but enough is enough. It was refreshing to watch Inception and Blood Diamond because they were non-Scorsese directed films. I understand that there is a long history of director/actor pairings like Woody Allen/Diane Keaton, and Scorses/De Niro, but I think it would do DiCaprio well to expand his horizons and work with some other great directors. If he doesn't there's always going to be suspisions that DiCaprio's great performances are reliant upon Scorsese being behind the helm.
