download/upload Speed test question!?

2.72 Mbps - download speed

.95 Mbps - uload speed

Just quick i want to know, are these reading ok/normal? Ive been looking all over sites and none give me a direct answer to what is considered ok and what is not, so can you please help?

Update:

Yup, i got these results from speedtest.net then rechecked them on other speed checking sites and the numbers were consistent.

No these speeds are not "slow". they're respectable, depending on where you are and what is available. They aren't the fastest, but they aren't the slowest either.

I'd guess that that was "normal" for your service, not knowing what service you have.

But yes, speedtest.net would be a good resource, though i imagine you already checked the speed somewhere.

No way. it particularly is incredibly sluggish. you may look at getting up to10Mbps. the sole ingredient you're able to do to velocity it up is tell your ISP you prefer a swifter connection, which they're going to of direction can charge you extra.

it all depends on what your ISP is provisioning for you.

2.72/.95 is OK speed for browsing and even for VoIP.

I like the following speed testing site :http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

You must be back on dial-up service.

    These speeds are SLOW!
