The G2 phase of the cell cycle occurs after the S phase, in which DNA is replicated. Given that it is a skin cell, it is a somatic cell that has 46 chromosomes. Since DNA has already been replicated, the cell has 92 chromosomes in total, with 4 homologous chromosomes of each kind of chromosome (i.e. chromosome 1, 2, 3, 4...23). However, chromosomes are only present during mitosis. That is to say, the cell has 92 chromosomes worth of genetic information during G2, but it is present as chromatin, not as chromosomes.
