A birthday Sonnet for Nancy.....?

Question

Alone with her thoughts, she sometimes may be

but her presence is felt on the forum.

She constantly wants the poets to see

you can overcome strife with decorum.

Lizzy and BG and all of the rest

want to wish her a glorious birthday

and I, for one, proudly wish her the best

and will be reading her new book, someday.

We have blocked, unblocked and chatted a lot

understanding each other intensely

We have both been the kettle, and sometimes the pot

still respecting each other immensely.

Happy Birthday, Nancy, and Francine, too.

I had to copy and paste this in my file before it disappears

I love you all here and I would never leave unless death takes me first

as I have become an integral part of the wheel which turns

as the stomach churns

and when you write me such a lovely sonnet I must on 6 knees bend down

and bow or curtsy or just say thanks as I spin in a circle and build

a new webbing of silk threads in decorative splendor
