University question about a Vet Nurse in the U.K.?

Im an American High School student, almost a graduate. At my gade, we are planning for college and the tests. Act,Sat,psat. Ive tried to research on how to be a vet nurse in the u.k. but I could not find any info. In the usa, I know its 4 years and you have to be accepted into the program. I would like to immigrate perhaps? I love learning, and schools here are super expensive.

You can read all about training to become a veterinary nurse in the UK on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons website.

There's on overview on here: http://findavet.rcvs.org.uk/veterinary-careers/i-w... and also a PDF leaflet you can download from that page to find out more.

Full details about enrolment, required grades, Colleges and Training Practices are available on VN Awards site: http://awardingbody.rcvs.org.uk/home/

Once you've had a look at that, if you have any further questions, you can contact us via: http://www.rcvs.org.uk/about-us/contact-us/

Hope this helps - good luck!

i think in UK it's different qualifications you need to get into college, and you would want to ask the college you want to go to if you can get in with your qualifications. you need a personal statement and they give you an offer depending on your predicted results and how good your personal statement is, and you would also want to ask about immigration.

i think you have to study for 5 years to have a degree to become a vet in the UK

    Good Luck :D
