Will Holder have to come clean on the administrations involvement in handing weapons to terrorists?

1,500 to drug cartels, 1,000 to Ms 13 gang members we sent to Honduras. Holder made a speech in 2009 in mexico about the operation but neglected to inform the Mexican officials that we were going to give weapons to the bad guys and now there is evidence of a cover up by the Justice department.

Update:

Director states justice department is obstructing

Update 7:

Thanks yo Mr. jones, you did your homework well. from what I can tell they not only appropriated $27 million for it but also $20 million in stimulus money. Remember that the cash was suppose to create 400000 shovel ready jobs. they ended up only spending 10% and that was mainly patch work on roads in and around metro areas to give the illusion it was creating jobs. Of the 280 billion cash only 100 Billion was needed to let the contracts to do the work but we now know most of the cash went somewhere else. It was funny to Obama about he shovel ready jobs, but not to our country as those jobs would have really helped the million foreclosures we are having a year now and also unemployment. The whole outfit is just horrible for us and the country.

Holder needs to be tried for treason ! Someone in Congress knew about Gunrunner, and Obama signed funding for it into law !!!!!!!!

Over at the Free Republic, a poster found this:

I posted in the thread: “Only time “gun” or “firearm” appears is in the part that give $10,000,000 to the ATF for Project Gunrunner. That was H.R. 495, asking for $15,000,000 for Gunrunner”.

H.R. 495 that I mentioned never made it out of committee, ***but it looks as it was to specifically fund Gunrunner.***

Instead portions of it were*** rolled into the stimulus package a month later***. That text found in H.R.1 is:

For an additional amount for ‘State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance’, $40,000,000, for competitive grants to provide assistance and equipment to local law enforcement along the Southern border and in High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas to combat criminal narcotics activity stemming from the Southern border, of which [[[[ $10,000,000 shall be transferred to ‘Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Salaries and Expenses’ for the ATF Project Gunrunner.]]]] ******Notice that’s $40,000,000 for Southern border enforcement, """$10,000,000 of which specifically for Project Gunrunner""". What does $10 million pay for here? It didn’t hire any new agents that I am aware of ???

[[[[[[[[[[[[[ So Obama didn’t know anything about this, but he signed $10,000,000 in funding for the program. This thing would stink on a donkey dung pile. It’s time for indictments. ]]]]]]]]]]]]] **** Trouble for Holder:.... ATF Director Eager to Testify About Operation Fast and Furious June 24, 2011 ..Townhall

ATF Director Kenneth Melson, who was heavily involved in Operation Fast and Furious, doesn’t look like he’s willing to fall on his sword for Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama just yet. In fact, Melson is ready to testify in front of the House Oversight Committee where Rep. Darrell Issa will ask him who above him ordered the operation within the Justice Department. Eric Holder should be very, very worried.

Rumors have been swirling around Washington all week that Melson would resign, yet it is now Friday and no resignation has been made.

The acting director of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is strongly resisting pressure to step down because of growing controversy over the agency’s surveillance program that allowed U.S. guns to flow unchecked into Mexico, according to several federal sources in Washington.

Kenneth E. Melson, who has run the bureau for two years, is reportedly eager to testify to Congress about the extent of his and other officials’ involvement in the operation, code-named Fast and Furious.

Melson does not want to be “the fall guy” for the program, under which ATF agents allowed straw purchasers to acquire more than 1,700 AK-47s and other high-powered rifles from Arizona gun dealers, the sources said. The idea was to track the guns to drug cartel leaders. But that goal proved elusive, and the guns turned up at shootings in Mexico, as well as at the slaying in Arizona of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in December.

“He is saying he won’t go,” said one source close to the situation, who asked for anonymity because high-level discussions with Melson remained fluid. “He has told them, ‘I’m not going to be the fall guy on this.’ “

Not surprisingly, the Justice Department is stonewalling his testimony.

Melson has an open invitation to appear on Capitol Hill. So far, he has not been given Justice Department approval to appear before Congress.

Between the Obama Justice Department submitting 900 pages of black, redacted material to Rep. Issa and now the DOJ stalling to give Melson permission to testify, there is no question the authorization of Operation Fast and Furious goes much higher up in the department than Holder wants us to know about.

No Holder will never come clean unless he is forced into a deal and testifies against 0bama himself to save his own skin, both should be removed from office by impeachment and tried in a court of law then spend the rest of their days in prison in my opinion

It is obvious that this goes all the way to Obama. Impeachment and criminal charges are in order here by the US courts then a trial by the world court for terrorism next.

If there is any truth to your allegation, then yes.

Fast and Furious is an operation that does not stop weapons from crossing the border; it does not actually involve the government giving weapons.

Well, even in a worse case scenario, it's nothing a pardon can't fix...
