What did Palestine have to do with the Holocaust?
@Trick, why should the Palestinian people have to suffer because of what happened in Europe?

To those who deny the Holocaust, my father served in the army during WW 2 and was present when Auschwitz was liberated. He witnessed the horror and brutality of the Nazis firsthand and yet would never speak of what he saw other than to confirm it happened.
Historiography, historical revisionism is the reinterpretation of orthodox views on evidence, motivations, and decision-making processes surrounding a historical event. Though the word "revisionism' is sometimes used in a negative way, constant revision of history is part of the normal scholarly process of writing history.
However, in this instance the focus is total denial of an event that is well known and recognized throughout the world as an authentic event. Millions, including Jehovah Witnesses, Catholics, Protestants, the old, infirm, mentally "defective", gypsies and other dissenters became victims of the Holocaust. Also, what is NOT well known is the complicity of the Haj Amin al-Husseini who was the most prominent Arab figure in Palestine during the Mandatory period. Al-Husseini was born in Jerusalem in 1893, and went on to serve in the Ottoman Army during World War I. Anti-British and anti-Jewish, the mufti was the key nationalist figure among Muslims in Palestine. Fearful that increased Jewish immigration to Palestine would damage Arab standing in the area, the mufti engineered the bloody riots against Jewish settlement in 1929 and 1936. he was involved in recruiting Arab support for Nazi Germany or the Third Reich, is the common name for the country of Germany while governed by Adolf Hitler and his National Socialist German Workers' Party from 1933 to 1945. Husseini died in exile in Cairo in 1974.
Husseini was the first proponent of militant, Arab Palestinian nationalism. He was an all or nothing terrorist who was determined to drive out or destroy the Jews or be destroyed himself, regardless of how many lives were wasted in the process. Once he was in power, he began a campaign of terror and intimidation against anyone opposed to his rule and policies. He not only killed Jews but also Arabs who did not support his campaign of violence. Husseini was not willing to negotiate or make any kind of compromise for the sake of peace
During the war, Arab Nazi parties were founded throughout the Middle East. The most influential one was "Young Egypt" which was established in 1933. Young Egypt imitated the Nazi party in their ideology, slogans, processionals, and anti-Semitic actions. When the war was over, a member of Young Egypt named Gamal Abdul Nasser led the coup in 1952 that overthrew the Egyptian government. He made Egypt a safe haven for Nazi war criminals and, in 1964, he established the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).
Yes, Uncle Haj, the Arab Fuhrer himself, passed his legacy of hatred of Jews to his nephew Yasser Arafat who has passed the same legacy of hatred to the next generation of young Arabs. Through the PLO, he sought to further the Arab Nazi goal of eliminating the Jews from the Land.
It continues to this day with agitation against the Jews and Christians living in Iran courtesy of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

"why should the Palestinian people have to suffer because of what happened in Europe?"
Life ain't fair. I would feel more sympathy for the Arabs if they had not both reacted the way the did to the Jew's immigration, had not taken parts of "Palestine" for themselves when the opportunity arose, and if they did not target civilians.
They suffered because something happened in Europe that drove the Jews out. The Jews went somewhere else. The Arabs picked a fight with the newcomers. The new guys won. The old guys got screwed. This sort of this has happened thousands of times throughout history, and its has nothing to do with fairness because no matter what, one side cannot have what it perceives as justice.
[Edit: also, the Brits did not "give" the Jews Palestine, they initially tried to forcibly stop them from coming. There were too many for the Brits to intercept and eventually they gave up.]

Palestine was part of the British Empire before and during WWII. However many Jews had emigrated to the region before that.
After WWII the allies were sympathetic to the plight of the Jews after the discovery of Hitler's death camps and so supported the establishment of a Jewish state in the Palestine protectorate. America led the effort I think and put pressure on the war-weakened Britain to comply.

The British refused to even consider the relocation of Jews to Palestine as Eichmann proposed in 1937. It would have prevented the holocaust.
Added: many Arabs fought along side Jews against the axis powers in WW2, it is interesting that some ignore history that shows the positive side of Palestinian Arabs. some also ignore the illegal immigration by Jews to Palestine and other bad acts by Jews/zionists against Jews and Jewish agencies/organization.
Neither side was all good or all bad. Historians would not generalize.

The Holocaust is a trademark name for Israel's extortion of those who were merely imprisoned in the concentration camps in Europe during WWII. In truth, the gas chambers were not used to exterminate anyone, but rather for the use of disinfecting the bacteria and lice off people's clothes. This was proven in the Leuchter Report and the media crucified Fred Leuchter just for getting these facts out. Zionist organizations came up with the scheme to create this elaborate story of millions of Jews being killed in gas chambers so that the world would forever feel sorry for them and would be willing to pay reparations, monetary compensation that supposedly would go to those who lived through the experience but in reality goes to the Israeli government and its financiers for their own ideological purposes. In other words, this phony claim was used as a pretext for the establishment of Israel. It was long planned by these crooks long before they financed Hitler into power.Source(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEORw4u5elg&feature... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW3a1bw5XlE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCKTKMFTprM "Persecution, privilege, and power" by Mark Green http://www.codoh.com/newrevoices/nrillusion.html http://vho.org/dl/ENG/tlr.pdf

I don't really like the idea of a Jewish state either but it's unfortunate people still say the Holocaust never happened.

Nothing. The British gave the European Jews Palestine after the holocaust.
Edit: They shouldn't have to. That's just what happened.

The so called Holocaust is a myth. Do some real research and stop believing every lie they tell you in school and on the History Channel.
Palestine was stolen by Zionist Jews who have no right to the land. The REAL Holocaust is happening today in Gaza.

Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem were pals.

Palestine didn't exist at that time.
