    Yes, and not just in China but everywhere around the world including Muslim countries and western countries.

    China have been studying economic prosperity and learning that as Christianity grows, economic prosperity ensues.

    China is called Sinim in the Bible (China = Sino). Even now Sinim is the same as China in Hebrew.

    "In an acceptable time I have heard You,

    And in the day of salvation I have helped You;

    I will preserve You and give You

    As a covenant to the people,

    To restore the earth,

    To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages;

    That You may say to the prisoners, 'Go forth,'

    To those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves.'

    "They shall feed along the roads,

    And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights.

    They shall neither hunger nor thirst,

    Neither heat nor sun shall strike them;

    For He who has mercy on them will lead them,

    Even by the springs of water He will guide them.

    I will make each of My mountains a road,

    And My highways shall be elevated.

    Surely these shall come from afar;

    Look! Those from the north and the west,

    And these from the land of Sinim" (Isa 49:8-12, NKJV)

    I have a friend who taught in China for a year and she is going back there in 2 weeks to teach another year. She told us that magazines and other sources give a misconception about Christians being persecuted in China (this is still true but magazines exaggerated the truth more than it should be). She also said that people are allow to be Christians and Christianity is not restricted as it once was. They still have to follow some guidelines or "rules", but she does think that only underground churches are prohibited. Perhaps it is true that Christianity is rising in China. I'll say Praise the Lord for that.

    As much as the fact may have atheists weeping into their beers, Christianity is on the rise throughout Asia. As to China in particular:

    i think so. people all over the world love christmas. i guess christianity is moving East from US one day, at least eastern people never 'talk upwards' or 'give instructions' to above. neither are they rude to heaven. in my country, singapore, there are growing nos. of church's programmes for them (mainlanders) in chinese.

    Maybe it is.Maybe not. Chriatianity in China is like Illegal drugs in America. They have to keep it underground.
