Basically what I want to know is will these parts work together and could you tell me on a scale of 1 to 10 will this be a good gaming PC for current PC games?

My only knowledge of computers is when they work :D

    Very good build. I don't think the Core i5 2500K will work very well on an AMD motherboard though

    You need Intel socket 1155

    Nope they wont work together, everything will, except that you have an amd motherboard for an Intel CPU?

    You need an Intel sandy bridge socket 1155 motherboard

    For your power supply I'd go for a 550-650 watt unit.

    Other than that maybe a 7.. its good, but its not THE ABSOLUTE BEST..
