I have done my best yet it didn’t work out. So, face it with a smile.
do one's best：盡力而為
I tried but it turned out to be disappointing. Well, just smile.
The result was unsatisfying even I had tried my best. Well, I chose to laugh at it.

Having given it all you've got and yet isn't enough, what you've still left is a laugh (to keep from crying).

If your best (shot) did not deliver as you's wished, laugh it off, then.

Having given it all, only to be greeted by the laughter of the disappointment; smile back!

If my best is still not good enough, then I will laugh it off (or away).
因為laugh away有兩個意思﹐故laugh off為首選。
Laugh off : to treat or dismiss lightly; deal with a problem by laughing or pretending to be amused by it.
Laugh away: 1. to dismiss or dispel (something unpleasant) by laughter
2. to make (time) pass pleasantly by jesting
