R&P: What are some songs that mention kids or children in the title or lyrics?

I'm doing some volunteer work as a camp leader tomorrow. And I hate kids. At least I'm getting some volunteer hours for school done <_<

ANYWAY, songs about kids?

BQ: Kids, yay or nay?

BBQ: Favourite shoegaze band other than My Bloody Valentine?

BBBQ: I have to get up early tomorrow and I'm not tired, care to recommend some dreamy music?

Hope you guys have more fun than I do tomorrow. Cheers

Songs depicting kids in an idyllic, cutesy sort of way:

    "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon

"Prendre un enfant par la main" by Yves Duteil (Title translates to "Taking a Child by the Hand")

"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong

Songs depicting kids in a not-so-idyllic, not-so-cutesy sort of way:

"Beat on the Brat" by the Ramones (Please refrain from taking the title to heart, by the way)

    Youtube thumbnail

"I Kill Children" by the Dead Kennedys (Same disclaimer as above, and in both instances the titles and lyrics are tongue-in-cheek anyway)

    Youtube thumbnail

"Children of the Grave" by Black Sabbath (Not technically about kids, but close enough. This is a live version from 1974.)

"Names" by Cat Power (WARNING - whereas the Ramones and DK's songs are more goofy than anything else, and the Sabbath one is just typically macabre Sabbath fare, this song is genuinely depressing. It's about severely abused and/or neglected kids she knew in real life, so if that's too heavy a lyrical theme, pass this one by.)

BQ: Leaning heavily towards nay, though it's a bit of a moot point anyway since I'm single.

BBQ: Not applicable in my case.

BBBQ: How about "Suzanne" by Leonard Cohen?
