In order to eradicate corruption, it is necessary to have an accurate definition of corruption, not the current woolly description, since this does not rule out nepotism and other forms of non-financial inducements.
Corruption is seen as endemic in our society since in almost all transactions there are 'winners' and 'losers', and any advantage is taken.
Some societies do not have the same definition of corruption as they see the practice of paying (for example) government officials for 'just doing their job' as a way of saving the government money as it then does not have to pay a living wage to the government employee (which saves on taxes).

Well only in the Star Trek universe will society discard money and try to live to better themsleves.
We have to discover light speed and then get the attention of a passing alien race who will teach us how to be a more advanced society.
Either that or get our asses handed to us by an invading alien race and we unite and put our petty differneces aside.
