The Rubik's cube was invented by Erno Rubik. It's a cube where each face can twist. The pieces that are not on the centers of the cube "float". They can change position and orientation as you turn the sides. The centers maintain orientation with respect to each other no matter what turns you do.

The official cube is 3 x 3 x 3, so each side consists of 9 pieces. But, it's a little tricky for beginners because corner pieces are part of 3 sides and edge pieces are part of 2 sides.

The current recorded fastest time to solve, I believe was just under 6 seconds by some guy named Feliks :)

Technically you can solve from _any_ configuration in about 20 moves (updated from previous mathematicians that thought it could be solved in 26 moves).

The normal solving method, though, for speed involves finger tricks, so 50 moves using memorized algorithms and muscle memory isn't so bad.

really? how are you not tracking on what a rubik's cube is? its a 3x3x3 or 4x4x4 etc. cube of interlocking squares of 6 different colors that rotate and interlock along each axis laterally, vertically in correspondence with the number of rows and columns. long story short its a **** ton of squares that spin and twist into varying positions until each of the six faces of the overall cube is a solid color. they are time consuming and look cool to be seen with in a state of near completion, however taking the time to do one from scratch generally detracts from pussy-seeking time...

Its a puzzle where a cube with 27 blocks put together in a 3x3x3 cube are together and each side of each block is a different color. You have to get it so wax face of the whole cube is one color, the next side is another color, and so on.

It is a species of gibbon native to Vietnam, Laos, and the Yunnan province of China. It is closely related to the southern white-cheeked gibbon (Nomascus siki), with which it was previously considered conspecific. The females of the two species are virtually indistinguishable in appearance.
