book lovers, i need help?

i am going to be in honors English IV when school starts back and i have a list of books to choose from for my summer reading. there is a lot and i need help picking which one to read.

    I would pick Shalimar the Clown because Salman Rusdie is supposed to be a good author or Mark Haddon's book which has a Sparknotes.

    I suggest using a site (Amazon, Goodreads, Wiki, etc.) to find the synopsis for each book. Keep narrowing it down till one wins. Or read a few of the ones you think sound like the best options.
