I would suggest the following order

First the markup language - HTML4 and HTML5

Second, the layout language - CSS3

Third, the front end scripting language - Javascript

Fourth, the back end scripting language - PHP or Perl or any other of your choice.

A few other things to be aware of as well

    - W3C Standards compliance

    - Site speed

    - SEO

You should learn HTML 5/XML first and FOREMOST. Follow that with CSS.

However, if you're interested in scripting languages, then you will be in a perfect position to pick up JavaScript. JS will serve you well as an excellent way to get your feet wet with object-oriented programming and other advanced skills.

Today, AJAX is bigger than ever before. There's a very strong likelihood you will be able to learn JS and PHP together while using AJAX.

First Learn HTML 5, because it has some object oriented programming functions

Then CSS 3, which is becoming a web standard.

Then PHP + MySQL would be a good option --> because Data bases are essential for Interactive Websites with dynamic information
