Einstein is suspected to have had high-functioning autism or Asperger's. Some people think he may have had ADHD or dyslexia as well. All that is just speculation, though. It's possible that he had any of these disorders, but he wasn't diagnosed with anything and he can't be evaluated now. We'll simply never know for sure. "By the way i personally think he had adhd, because someone whit aspergers have problems seeing the big picture, plus he seemed to have "hyperfocused" quite alot." Hyperfocusing on a topic of interest is pretty common in people with Asperger's, and not all Aspies have trouble grasping the big picture. Anyway, it's not an either/or situation. A person can have both Asperger's and ADHD.

Many researchers believe that Albert Einstein had a form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome in the past little was known about this form of autism. It was discovered by an Austrian Scientist named Hans Asperger during the Second World War.

He noticed that there were a group of young boys who gave off the same signs of autism, but displayed signs that showed off being genius.

In other words the reason that Einstein was acting strange was because he wasn't being challenged enough. But by the time he got into the United States though he met people who had the same goals that he did.

It was also because of Einstein that the scientists down in Oak Ridge created the formula for the Atomic Bomb by using is theory of relativity E=MC2.

Alot of famous people in the past had or have AS and they are:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart= People made fun of him through out his childhood and most of his adult life but he went on to create some of the most beautiful music that has ever been heard.

Bill Gates= He has it and he is one of the most richest men on the planet.

Source(s): Personal Experience have Asperger Syndrome.

Researchers believe he actually suffered from what his symptoms point to as some form of autism. Some state asbergers, others believe his social skills were so low that he was a extremely high functioning autistic sufferer. Or the rarely used term of idiot savant-a genius who lacks common social skills. He may of had a touch of add as his organization was a flurry however it is said that in a room full of books and scattered papers, he knew exactly where everything was as this was his " filing system". Either way goes to show us that ones idea of perfection and efficency may be nothing like anthers and the outcome is yet to be invented :) also note most musicians suffer from some type of mental unease. Hence the ability to create masterpieces in sometimes one sitting. This doesn't say they are "crazy" but wildly creative in a sense that not many others are :) artists alike thing of van gogh and that poor ear! Ouch. In most cases being able to create what they see in their heads is the only way to function. The best of the best inventors, artists, musicians...coulda cared less about notoriety or money. It was simply an escape.
